Princess Adds 21 Tours, Private Excursions in Alaska
Crown Princess debuts with new features

Over the past decade, Princess Cruises has become one of the cruise industry's true innovators and has entrenched its name in the world's three largest cruise markets. It has the most capacity in Alaska, it will field its most significant deployment ever to Europe in 2007, and it has established a permanent, year-round presence in the Caribbean. Ten years ago, Princess was in the midst of a major shipbuilding program that would transform the fleet. These vessels, known as the Grand Class, introduced the company's credo of "Big Ship Choice, Small Ship Feel." Today, that motto remains the company's guiding philosphy.
Personal Choice was top priority when the Princess fleet was created. Your "what you want, when you want" cruise gracefully unfolds with an endless array of options. Dine at an Italian trattoria, then dance the night away at a nightclub suspended 15 decks above the sea. Princess Cruises offers a total experience — more unique itineraries, affordable private balconies, flexible mealtimes with Personal Choice Dining, and the amenities and individual service of any luxury resort, thanks to the Big Ship Choice, Small Ship Feel of their fleet.
The Personal Choice Entertainment program encompasses a wide variety of options. Passengers can choose from multiple show lounges featuring Princess' award-winning original Broadway and Las Vegas-style productions, an extensive daily lineup of shipboard activities, and an ever-changing array of special features specific to each ship and its itinerary.
Destinations Around the World
Princess has also distinguished itself by sailing to more worldwide cruise destinations than any other major line. Offering more than 150 itineraries ranging from seven to 72 days, Princess sails to all seven continents and calls at nearly 260 ports around the world.
Destinations include the Caribbean, Alaska, Panama Canal, Europe, Mexican Riviera, South America, South Pacific, Hawaii, Tahiti and French Polynesia, Asia, India, Africa, Holy Land, Canada and New England, and Antarctica.
Passengers: Princess Cruises attracts American cruise passengers, mostly couples ranging from their mid-30s to mid-50s. Families enjoy cruising on the Princess fleet, particularly in the Caribbean and Bermuda during holiday seasons and summer months.
