Only Norwegian Cruise Line has it. What is it? Freestyle cruising. There are no fixed dining times. And you never have to eat in the same restaurant twice. You don't have to sit with strangers and you only have to dress up if you want to. From the moment you board the ship you are officially off the clock. There are no schedules to keep. There's a spirit of freedom throughout the entire ship. It's NCL's Freestyle Cruising. Where you're free to whatever. Freestyle Cruising means freedom of choice.

Freestyle Dining
No other cruise line offers 13 different restaurants on board a single ship. No other cruise line even comes close. Steak, sushi, Teppanyaki, tapas, French, Mediterranean, Asian Fusion, Italian, Tex-Mex, buffets, pizza. Your choices are endless. Dine where you want. With up to 13 restaurants, you'll find what you're in the mood for. Dine when you want. Restaurants are open for dinner from 5:30pm to midnight with seating until 10:00pm. Dine with whomever you want. Not everyone wants to eat dinner with people they don't know. You're welcome to enjoy dinner with the people you came on vacation with.

Freestyle Accommodations

Freestyle Activities
On board, you can go bowling or to the spa. Try out the bungee trampoline or yoga. Karaoke or kick-boxing. Or go swimming, spinning, shopping or jogging. Off the ship, try our hiking, biking, diving, snorkeling, surfing, golfing, touring and partying Shore Excursions.

Freestyle Attire
Thanks to NCL's policy of, well, no formal policy, you can be elegant one night and casual the next. It's called resort casual and it's a lot more comfortable than wearing a tuxedo.

Freestyle Disembarkation
With traditional cruising, getting off the ship can be a lot of "hurry up and wait." Not with NCL. They thought that maybe sleeping in and having a quiet breakfast or a quick workout might be a better alternative. So relax any way you like, until it's really time to go.

Freestyle for Kids
There's a kids pool and giant water slide, video arcade and teen disco, ping pong and movie theater. Plus, there are dedicated programs for kids and teens. There's even a kid-size buffet and dozens of shore excursions ideal for families.
