This Carnival Cruise Lines "fun ship" is 113,500 gross registered tons with a double occupancy capacity of 3,006 passengers. Carnival Splendor decoration theme is "Splendid Things," which Carnival calls a "celebration of the magnificent, lustrous and elegant."

Carnival SplendorThe first of a new class of vessel for Carnival, Splendor features the 21,000 square-foor Cloud 9 Spa, which has 68 spa cabins and suites, a thalassotherapy pool covered by a glass dome, a Thermal Suite and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.

The central Lido pool deck has a glass-walled, two deck high area that can be enclosed with a retractable Sky Dome, along with two hot tubs positioned on either side of the deck. The ship has a 5,500 square foot two level children's play area and a water spray park.

Carnival Splendor's Seaside Theatre is a 12'x22' jumbo-sized LED screen with a crystal clear picture and a 70,000-watt sound system where you can watch movies and concerts, sporting events and news.
