Cruise Ship Activities

Cruise activities are varied and exciting. You can stay busy on a cruise from sunrise to sunset or you can do nothing at all. There are so many options it's hard to decide what to do. Don't worry about being bored because you can always find fun activities to enjoy!

You can soak up some sun by the pool while reading a good book or sipping a cool refreshing drink. You can spend time shopping looking for souvenirs, clothing, or jewelry. How about enjoying a massage in the spa or taking advantage of the gym to work off some of the delicious meals you've been eating.

Some ships now have ice skating rinks, rock climbing walls, basketball courts, golf, and even bowling alley lanes and onboard zip-lines!

Day-time Activities
From rock climbing walls and volleyball tournaments to wine tastings, onboard theatres and flower arranging classes, cruise ships offer a wide variety of options for the travelers that enjoys activities. There are many organized activities you can choose to participate in, and they differ from ship to ship.

Shops & Galleries
Most ships offer shopping onboard that includes everything from T-shirts to jewelry. Shopping on the ship saves you money because everything is tax and duty-free. There are also art collections on the ship that can be purchased through the art auctions held onboard.

Night-time Activities
The number of nighttime activities varies widely from ship to ship, but one thing you can depend on is a good time. There are usually casinos, dancing to live bands and discos, live productions, sometimes featuring celebrity artists and comedians, karaoke, visiting dance troupes, and more to entertain you at night. Some ships even offer outdoor or indoor theatres that offer shows several nights a week.

Spas and Beauty Salons:
Most ships have spas and salons that perform everything from massages and facials to hair styling/cutting and manicure/pedicures. There are often special offers and spa packages.

Kids & Teens
There are plenty of choices for the kids to keep them happy and occupied on most ships. Sign them up for the onboard youth program so they can enjoy all the activities such as arts & crafts, ice-cream parties, swimming, plays, movies, scavenger hunts and more.
